How to use

Roll Gently on Skin

Glide the roll-on applicator smoothly over clean skin. A small amount is enough for a lasting fragrance.

Apply on Pulse Points

Apply on pulse points like wrists, neck, and behind ears. These areas help enhance the fragrance diffusion.

Let It Settle & Evolve

Allow the attar to settle and react with your body warmth, revealing its rich and natural aroma over time.

Step 1: Handpicked Flowers

Fresh flowers are carefully harvested in the early hours of the morning, just before sunrise, when their fragrance is at its peak. This ensures maximum retention of natural aroma and therapeutic properties. Only fully bloomed and high-quality flowers are selected, while damaged or wilted ones are removed. This careful selection process plays a crucial role in the final fragrance quality. The freshness of flowers directly impacts the richness of the attar. Traditional artisans follow strict harvesting practices to maintain consistency. This step lays the foundation for a luxurious and authentic attar.

Step 2: Charging the Deg (Distillation Vessel)

The selected flowers are gently transferred into traditional copper vessels known as “deg.” Pure water is added in a precise ratio to maintain balance during distillation. The copper material helps in even heat distribution and enhances the extraction process. The vessel is then sealed properly using natural clay to prevent steam leakage. This ensures that no aromatic compounds are lost during the process. The preparation requires experience and accuracy for optimal results. It is a crucial step where tradition meets precision.

Step 3: Steam Distillation Process

The deg is heated over a controlled flame, generating steam that passes through the flowers. This steam carries the delicate aromatic compounds from the petals. The vapors then travel through a bamboo pipe into a receiving chamber called “bhapka.” The entire process is slow and carefully monitored to avoid overheating. Maintaining the right temperature is essential to preserve the natural fragrance. This method ensures that the essence remains pure and undamaged. It is a time-intensive process that reflects true craftsmanship.

Step 4: Absorption in Base Oil (Sandalwood Oil)

The aromatic vapors condense into sandalwood oil placed inside the bhapka. This oil acts as a natural base that absorbs and preserves the fragrance over time. The mixture is allowed to mature, enhancing depth and longevity. Sandalwood oil not only stabilizes the scent but also adds its own subtle richness. This process can take several days for full development. The result is a highly concentrated and long-lasting natural perfume. This step defines the uniqueness of traditional attar.
